I got this picture from our cousin, Ivy Hawes. She sent it a few days after her mother-in-law (wife of Truman Hawes)passed away.
Just as a background of some names here... Lewis' parents are Willie and Ella (Hawes) Lunceford, her parents are Oliver and Alcinda (Lunceford) Hawes. Willie's dad and Ella's mother were brother and sister, Willie and Ella were 1st cousins. A marriage that wouldn't be legal today, but in the late 1800's was still acceptable.
It's believed that the photo was taken on a farm in Odessa, MO. The farm was said to have been the home of Oliver's family when they arrived in MO around 1882, but it is no longer standing.

We're not positive on them all, but after comparing thoughts with Ivy I think it's as close as we'll ever get to a complete list. There was an article in an Arizona newspaper dated July 23, 1905 which stated that T. A. Hawes (Turner Ashby) and family, and his brother Walter were traveling to El Paso to meet their brother Peter (actually Jeter) to visit family in Oak Grove, Missouri.
This picture was taken during that trip, as Truman Hawes was born in Feb. 1905 and is about 4 mo. old in the picture. Ivy verified the baby in Jenny's lap is Truman (her father-in-law). Note how much "Ted" Hawes looks like Teddy Roosevelt (Maybe the reason for the nickname).
